I do appreciate the humor in the post, but I thought I&#039;d offer an explanation, in hopes that it doesn&#039;t ruin the joke here. :-)

I&#039;ve got a Ruby script that pulls my content from various sources (in this case my Google Reader shared items) via RSS or API calls and then consolidates them all by posting them into my WordPress blog via the XMLRPC feature they provide.

I decided to not use my regular WordPress user account for this automated process, so I set one up with the name &quot;xmlrpc&quot;, obviously either not thinking through this particular consequence fully, or caring enough to do anything about it once it was there.

And now you know... the rest of the story. :-)</description>
