Anything I write here should stand (or fall) on its own merit. I don't buy that something is true/smart/useful because the person who said it has N years experience working on that stuff. They might have just been wrong for N years of their life. The appeal to authority is just an excuse to not be critical or open to new ideas. So I don't care for it in others, and I'm not going to use it as basis for any argument. Would you please add it ? I know it might not be relevant anymore for you, but it'd help the crowd understand where you come from.
