They&#039;ll work; they didn&#039;t go into enough detail but the pattern is discernible. In terms of shape, they&#039;ll end up doing what Zope/Rails implicitly and Django explicitly do today. 

The point of the post was confirmation that Java/EE does not support REST idiom, for any definition of &quot;REST idiom&quot;. Hopefully people that matter will pick up on this - certainly I intend to keep it saying it. I give it ~two years and support for non-CGIs will be part of Java - it&#039;ll be one of the few upsides of the REST hype train.</description>
