    The Dutch boy and embracing constraints

    The complaints are often rooted in your basic enterprise paranoia but beyond that they also reveal what may be a fundamental misunderstanding: in distributed computing, constraints are good things.

    Reminds me of the dutch boy. All abstractions are leaky, and the more abstractions you have, the more fingers you have stuck in the dyke. You can only be a hero for so long, eventually something will have to give. So embrace constraints.
